Bartłomiej Jarmoliński, born in 1975, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, he made his diploma in the studio of intermedia and in the Romana Hałat’s studio of drawing in 2001. His works were exhibited in Poland, Germany and Scotland. His artistic achievements consist
of several individual exhibitions, i.a. in Warsaw, Łódź, Wrocław, Berlin. He is occupied with painting, video, photography. He won the second prize in Artysta i jego dzieło, a competition organized by the Malarstwo Polskie quarterly from Łódź, and a distinction in Bielska Jesieñ, the 39th biennale of painting in Bielska Gallery.

Through the whiteness and central composition, Jarmoliński's works place themselves between the reality and transcendence. It is possible that Jarmoliński subconsciously derives from the rulers and dignitaries' model presentations as well as from the image of a modern graceful man.
